About ME

Hi, I'm Jessica, your dedicated holistic fertility and wellness coach in the Saskatoon Area.

At Baby Bug, we’re here to support your journey - gently building, comforting, and providing thoughtful care for you and your little one every step of the way.

HOW IT STARTED

I’ve always felt drawn to the world of babies, motherhood, and the quiet, powerful transformation that happens when a woman steps into this new chapter of her life.

But my true passion for supporting women didn’t begin there—it began with my own journey.

On paper, my path looked very different. I come from a background in accounting and finance, but my heart was always pulling me toward health and wellness. I became a certified fitness instructor, fell in love with movement, and found so much joy in helping others feel strong, confident, and aligned in their bodies.

But everything shifted when I began my own journey to motherhood.

What I thought would be simple became anything but. After coming off hormonal birth control, I was faced with diagnosis after diagnosis—IBS, SIBO (leaky gut), PCOS, autoimmune challenges, and a thyroid condition. My days were filled with symptoms that were impossible to ignore—anxiety, depression, fatigue, brain fog, painful and irregular cycles, hormonal & cystic acne, constant bloating—and the heartbreak of infertility.

I was told, over and over again, that these were things I would have to live with. There was no cure. That medication would be lifelong. That this was just my reality.

But something in me refused to accept that.

I began advocating for myself in a way I never had before. I dove deep into learning—nutrition, lifestyle, stress management, supplementation—and became committed to getting to the root of what was happening in my body.

After a year at a fertility clinic, on the last cycle of letrozole, I received my first positive pregnancy test—only to miscarry a week later, on my birthday. It was devastating. But even in that grief, I held onto a quiet belief that my body was capable—I just needed to continue supporting it.

I chose to step away from medication and focus fully on healing.

Over time, I began to see changes. My cycles became more regular, I started ovulating naturally, my symptoms lessened, and I felt more in control of my body. But the journey wasn’t linear—I experienced two more miscarriages along the way.

Still, I didn’t give up.

In the summer of 2022, I was introduced to a health and wellness company that became a turning point for me. Alongside the lifestyle changes I had already made, I began using high-quality supplements to support my body on a deeper level.

Just one month later, everything shifted.

My bloodwork came back clear—no signs of PCOS, no autoimmune flares, balanced hormones, improved gut health. For the first time in years, I truly felt well. I had energy, mental clarity, balanced moods, clearer skin, and a deep sense of trust in my body again.

And soon after—I became pregnant.

After everything, I carried my rainbow baby, who is now two years old.

There was a time when I truly believed this might not be possible for me. The odds felt stacked against me, and the loneliness of that journey was heavy. But I refused to accept “no” as my answer. I fought for my health, and in doing so, I found my purpose.

As I began sharing my story, I quickly realized how many women were walking a similar path—feeling confused, dismissed, and alone, terrified, just like I once did.And that’s where everything came full circle. I knew I wanted to be the support I didn’t have.

This is where my work as a coach began—holding space for women, guiding them, empowering them, and reminding them that their bodies are worthy of understanding, support, and care.

I am so incredibly grateful that my journey has led me here.

Because now, I get to walk alongside other women as they navigate their own paths—offering the kind of support that is honest, compassionate, and deeply rooted in lived experience.

You don’t have to do this alone. I’m here to walk with you, every step of the way.
