A few months later, they found themselves seated at the same table at the Mother May I Gala — a night dedicated to supporting mothers and maternal mental health. By the end of the evening, there had been laughter, tears, deep conversations, and the kind of connection that feels like it was meant to happen.

Numbers were exchanged.
And a week later, Ashley began her journey toward becoming a postpartum doula.

What started as a simple conversation became something much bigger.
